Reassembling the 403: February 2015

New 'red' badges

It looks nice, doesn't it? I ordered a full set of these red-background badges from 'Mullard Magic', a site managed by an extremely kind fellow in UK. The badges are quite expensive at £69,50 each, or £305,00 (ugh) for the full set of 6, but they look good....and if you need the little Pegasus on the side, they offer them as well in red or yellow, at a whopping £69,50 each.

The locating pins are too thick (see picture below) and their position do not match the holes on my car's front grille, but they will be adapted. I couldn't check if they fit the holes on the hubcaps, as I have misplaced them (of course) and I can't find them now.

It is possible that these badges can be fitted to other Aerodynes without modifications, I just don't know. Restoring your original badges, like I did for an old precious Frazer Nash-BMW badge, may still be economically viable
