Now I need a new Selectaride switch knob

 

The knob looks good, but its seat for the 1/4"shaft is ruined, so I need a compatible item to turn this shaft; regular using of the Selectaride switch is the key to keep those special shock absorbers working as they should
 

When I acknowledged the impossibility to find an original Selectaride knob in better condition than mine, I looked for a replacement that could be fitted on the 1/4" shaft and with a 30 mm outside diameter. A TASCAM 122 pro cassette deck that I keep on one of my shelves seemed to have the right size to provide a passable replacement for the time being, but it proved to be unsuitable as the switch's shaft is too short ...
