FOLLINA-SOLIGO 2017
The wedding of the lovely daughter of two of our closest friends, Saturday 9 September 2017, was a good excuse to visit Proseccoland, the area between Conegliano, Follina, Valdobbiadene, Treviso where this bully is produced....The XJR was the perfect transport for such an elegant event

The wedding was mercifully spared the misery of the thunderstorm that had been forecast for Saturday afternoon, but during the night it rained the proverbial cats and dogs. This is the XJR Sunday morning
It was very wet....
Driving back along the Prosecco roads flanked by vineyards and wine producers, we found a truly drenched countryside; a nice change for the drought that had been the norm in Italy during the last 2 months....
550 kms, 13,4 litres/km.... and a great pleasure driving this old grand locomotive around Veneto
