La mia passione per le Lamborghini viene da lontano, più o meno dal 1974. Da allora sono stato cliente della Lamborghini (Silhouette #40054), Fondatore e Segretario del 'Registro Internazionale Silhouette', Membro Fondatore e Presidente del 'Lamborghini Club Italia', Direttore della 'Rivista Lamborghini'. Ho scritto sette libri e molte centinaia di articoli sulla Lamborghini, ho diretto il restauro della 350GTV #001 e della Urraco Rallye; dal 1990 sono il consulente storico ufficiale della Casa. Mi pare quindi naturale dedicare una parte del mio sito a questa Marca leggendaria ed ai suoi appassionati. 

Sul Web esistono già molte pagine dedicate alla Lamborghini, e alcune sono davvero eccellenti. Io non voglio fare un doppione di ciò che già altri hanno fatto; quindi ho pensato di pubblicare su queste pagine solo ciò che non si potrebbe trovare altrimenti, cercando nel mio archivio personale, che ho iniziato a costruire nel 1974, i documenti inediti e le foto mai pubblicate, i dettagli poco conosciuti, quello, insomma, che non si può trovare facilmente in altri siti. Cominciando con alcune foto pressochè sconosciute dell'inizio del 'Progetto L300', quella che poi diventerà la Urraco.

My love for Lamborghini starts a long time ago, around 1974. Since then I've been a customer of Lamborghini (Silhouette #40054), Founder and Secretary of the 'Registro Internazionale Silhouette', Founder and Chairman of the 'Lamborghini Club Italia', Editor of the 'Rivista Lamborghini'. I've written seven books and several hundred articles about Lamborghini, I guided the restoration of the 350 GTV #001 and Urraco 'Rallye', and I am the official historian of this firm since 1990. Therefore, I simply have to dedicate a part of my site to this legendary Marque and its enthusiasts.

On the Web, you can find several sites about Lamborghini cars, and some of them are excellent. I didn't want to copy anyone, nor did I want to put in my page the pictures, texts, links you can find somewhere else. So I've decided to show here only the stuff you couldn't find anywhere else; digging deep in my archives, that I began to build more than 25 years ago, I've found photos, drawings, data that were never published or have been neglected, rarities, oddities, something for the student and the enthusiast alike. Beginning today with some scarcely-known pictures of the beginnings of 'Progetto L300', the future Urraco.
