ALSO-RANS: OTHER PLACES FOR A GOOD COCKTAIL MARTINI

The list of the best Martini places in ther world, my favourite Martini ‘Temples’, is an extract of the many experiences that I enjoyed around the world when on business trips or pleasure vacations, and the ones that I put in the ‘good’ list are (or anyway were) stunning; then I posted the places at the other end of the spectrum because I also feel that my readers must be warned of the ones that I didn’t like.

There are many places that fall in between the 'best' and the 'avoid' places. Places that will serve you an appreciable cocktail that is not so completely satisfactory, for the most different reasons, but is absolutely decent all the same. One bartender may mix a superb drink but it’s not cold at all, another uses low-quality gins, another again offers a nice Martini but the surroundings are uninspiring, and so on. If you happen to be nearby and need a good 15+1 these places will very probably help you; I found them generally satisfying when I visited them, though I cannot say that you will find the complete satisfaction that I got in my 'Temples'. In no particular order, I want to mention:
