The only hotel in the world where the entrance of the garage is as luxuriously furnished as the lobby of the most expensive hotels....in this huge, very refined 5-stars 'S' hotel located, all by himself, on a 1350 meters high Tyrolean mountaintop, they will mix for you a passable Martini. It is mandatory to look for the 'right' bartender (an Egyptian-born bespectacled young man) and then you will have to explain precisely what you would like to find in your stem glass. They stock Hendricks and Tanqueray Ten but they do not keep the bottles in the freezer so they have to cool it with ice and as a result it is never cold enough. The olive is, invariably, stoned and not large enough; as a consequence, the Interalpen Martini is acceptable only when it's snowing outside and Christmas is around the corner. The nearest decent bar, anyway, is 30+ kms far, in Innsbruck....
