It's a great classic:
'LaMamounia' is a symbol of Marrakech and, for several reasons, of a
whole world of connoisseurs and gentlemen living a good life. Completely
reworked in 2006-2009, it is now as fascinating as ever (the dark
cavernous wood-panelled hole of the 'Churchill Bar' is a symbol of a
bygone era in itself....) and can serve an extremely good Martini.
Tanqueray 'Ten' is the best choice here, and the scenery is magnificent.
Service is peerless and you must get a Martini there, if you visit
Marrakech. This said, it was quite strange to see way too many patrons
dressed really cheap, like if they didn't care at all for the
magnificence of this palace and couldn't bother, at least, to change
their sandals for proper shoes at least for dinner
