Neromo (Firenze)

Another very civilized Martini in Firenze, very dry, very cold but but a difference. Neromo's bartender apologized for the lack of the correct stem glass but I was thirsty and he was extremely kind, to the point of making some amends and putting the glass in a little ice bucket to keep it as cold as possible

At the end I was happy to drink an excellent dry Martini (based on classic Tanqueray) from this tumbler, toasting to the memory of Umberto Eco that personally favoured this type of glass for his M

By the way, Neromo is astonishingly good! Coccoli con Prosciutto were amazing....

...and the pizza equally tasty and baked perfectly. A great little place in Oltrarno! As Arnold Schwarzenegger would grumble, we'll be back
