'We tried a Martini also in the Re Sole bar up via San Mamolo as the bartender that was formerly at Caffè Gamberini, Celestino, is allegedly a very good bartender. Sadly, when I got there with friend and super-Martinista, Dr. Vincenzo Profazio, Celestino was not there, the Martini was presented without any olive, we had to ask (repeatedly) for it, the appetizers were quite unappetizing....so even if the Martini was very good (and that's why I include this baro on my list) the other offerings make this a not particularly rewarding place to visit |
