The golf course of San Giovanni in Marignano near Riccione, the 'Riviera Golf Resort', has been recently upgraded from 9 to 18 holes and now it is really lovely. Good news for golf lovers that want to spend some days on the Adriatic Coast of Italy, universally renowned for friendly people, good prices and lots of fun, especially by night. This resort is different: it has always been really stylish and this is small wonder, considering that the founders of the 'Riviera Golf' are mr Ferretti, famous of his luxury boat yards, and mr Paolo Gerani, owner of the fashion firm 'Iceberg'. The 80+meters long pool provides a spectacular background for a restaurant furnished in a simple, elegantly 'modernistic' fashion, and once you get to terms with the bartender (a charming young lady) she will mix for you a perfect Martini, the right thing to enjoy between the 18th hole and the dinner, hopefully graced by a spectacular sunset over the hills of South-East Romagna....
