The 'San Domenico', in
Bologna, is a great old classic joint. As many other classics of the
same age, it has changed lots of hands, but now is back and apparently
in rude health. We enjoyed a very good, very dry Martini based on
Tanqueray Ten (apparently the n.1 choice for high-end bartenders wanting
to play safe) with the welcome touch of some good olives on the side,
marinated in Extra Dry to be added at will to our Martini. A nice touch!
