The Goodwood Hotel, Goodwood

Goodwood is a temple for enthusiasts of classic and sports cars, and Charles Gordon-Lennox, 11th Duke of Richmond, a splendid example of the young British aristocrats that in their heyday could build an Empire from scratch. The fact that the Goodwood Hotel can't mix a good Martini cocktail and can't find one (one) olive for it it's therefore simply a detail, a microscopic fly in this gigantic and very pleasant ointment. A detail that however we had all the time in the world to check and remember, as we did have to wait 80 minutes after the hors d'oeuvre to receive the main course, a simple roasted meat.....
