You will not find better fried mushrooms in Italy (and, as a consquence, in all the world) than in the house of this wonderfully charming couple of vintage-car friends..... Their martini is served in the kitchen, as you can do only with really intimate friends, so the atmosphere gets very peculiar, and it's a great thing to sip an Arctic-cold Martini while nibbling on a splendid Ovuli, or 'Caesars Amanita', the most aristocratic of all the mushrooms. Chapagne will be served for the ladies, but this very intimate Martini is a little wonderful work of art, exactly as the four-cam Carreras gracing the secret garages of this quick gentleman driver and, above all, great friend.....
