Unfortunately, the picture of the bar shows one of the least attractive corners of this grand old establishment, one where it was customary, for old-school motoring journalists, to gather during the evening before the Press Day of the Geneva Auto Show. Times have changed, but the fascination of this splendid hotel is still there; the Martini is good enough to keep the tradition alive, though not exactly worth the journey from Italy To escape the view of the hideous carpeting of the renewed bar, though, it is advisable to ask for it in the room adjacent to the restaurant 'Le Jardin'
