Bar Pasticceria Soldi is one of those places where habitués of Forte and its citizens go, usually, for its splendid pastry. Andrea, former bartender at 'Fratellinis' (barely visible in the background of this picture), has moved there; remebering his excellent Martini and his great manners we found unavoidable to pay a visit to this place.

  The Martini is, needless to say, excellent: pity about the glass, way too extravagant for the purity of this King of cocktails. The snacks were quite palatable, so it would be a good place for this kind of apéritif. The ambience of the bar itself is, however, a bit démodé; it will be much better to sit down outside, once Summer comes, enjoying the view in one of Forte's most central streets
