The 'Steigenberger' is one of Dresden's central luxury hotels and has the advantage of being only a few yards from the Frauenkirche, Dresden's most famous monuments (for several reasons, not all of them artistic). If anyone has noted it, yes, the tie is the latest edition of the tie of the GRRC, Charles Richmond's 'Goddowwod Road Racing Club'. We had a very pleasant dinner there for my birthday, and it was quite good. Sadly, the bartender spoiled the Martini putting 2 stoned olives in it; they 'oiled' my Martini so much that it was, for my taste, nearly undrinkable. However it was a very nice evening and we enjoyed also the peculiar, very 'dark' wienerschnitzel.....
