This is a medium-quality Sony Minidisc deck, a JE510 open for repair
(the machine does not recognize the disc being inserted). Very clean
and...very empty. Small wonder that Sony made more compact machines like
the MDS-S37 that were exactly the same hardware in a suitably more compact
