The oil sensor failed, it made its yellow light 'sensor' come up with a loud annoying whistle . It was about time to change it. The old one is on the left, the new one on the right |

The new oil sensor, in place. It was a good idea to change it as when Marco Gordini emptied the sump the oil came it out black, looking very used; fresh oil was a bonus |

So this complete oil change was effected at 161,504 kms, or 97,800 miles |
