February 2017, electrics
Francesco Pulega, since decades the undisputed King of the electrics for
high-quality classic cars in Bologna,
turning to the task of installing some additional stop lights on the
back of the 403. As always, he did a sterling job
Working on the tail lights it's better to lift the back of the 403
and the spare wheel tray gives a good access
Francesco didn't like the indicators that we had provisionally fitted under
the profile of the front wheelarch, so he fitted a smaller, better-looking one

The fog lamps now work, a nice touch
They are also quite bright
Checking the level of coolant in the radiator
The level was low....the 403 runs very cool anyway, today (Friday 10
February) with a 7°C outside temperature I never saw more than 65°C on
the water thermometer
The ventilator under the scuttle sends air to the footwells. Picture on
the left: lever to the left, holes closed; pic on the right: lever
pushed fully to the right, holes open
The driver's side fog lamps has a little crack. Does anyone know
where I could buy a new one? The Spare Parts reference is Lucas no.
