The battery bay was not very nice, so it was stripped completely


Amongst the problems of the battery bay, the two nasty 'blade' fuses that had been installed in the past to protect the flasher circuit

This is how you open the battery/electrics/brake servo bay of a 409. Quite unusual, but an amazingly practical solution

It is possible to see the new voltage regulator and (scarcely noticeable) the heavy-duty fuse in a small plastic enclosure
that was added to the wiring of the Kenlowe fans. I think that now it begins to look pretty nice
