A splendid breakfast at the Imperiale. The bacon was absolutely the best that I have ever found, anywhere |

Saturday the 'Terre di Canossa' convoy stopped at the basis of the 'Folgore', the élite paratroopers regiment in Pisa. One of the best units in the world, and us Italians must be proud of it....my uncle was an officer in the 'Nembo' sister division |

Corrado and Elena LoPresto, with Tazio, looking glamorous as ever and obviously happy to meet the formidable team of paratroopers that showed their skill hitting the small mattress placed in the yard after being dropped from 2000 meters. Amazing |

I wouldn't imagine to arrive at the top of the Pradarena Pass (1600+meters) and finding a freezing cold and snow after the first half of April....In front of us, the Porsche 90SC of Senator Filippo Berselli and Rossella Labate, the charming lady who organizes the 'Winter Race' in Cortina |

Coming back, an unpleasant surprise. One of the four Mercedes-Benz steel rims that I adapted to the 409 in 2011, with splendid results until now, developed not 1 but 2 nasty hairline cracks |

Starting at 94,301 miles, coming back at 94,846. Terre di Canossa, plus the Bologna-Salsomaggiore and Reggio-Bologna transfers, was 545 miles long |
