| Turin is the most 'magical' of
all the Italian towns. It also one of the more explicitly
Anglo-Saxon-oriented enclaves of good manners and taste, so it goes
without saying that a good Martini is part and parcel of its life.
Vittorio Gallo (M.D., PhD, and excellent martiniste) introduced
me and Anna to the joys and luxuries of a small but really refined
hamlet in Via Massena, the 'Fibonacci' lounge of the Boston Art Hotel.
He will write a review of this intriguing place where the bartender
really knows his stuff and the Tanqueray 'Ten' reigns over a multitude
of sophisticated gins and vodkas. Appetizers were extraordinary! But my
words are really just an introduction, or, if you prefer, a literary
Martini introducing Vittorio's words that will
		hopefully follow...
