A very refined restaurant specialized in fish, perched over one of Versilia's most exclusive beaches and with an impeccable serive: Franco Mare deserves a Michelin star.... Massimiliano mixed me a very good Martini cocktail (he also mixed 'on the run' a lovely mayonnaise for Anna) after the bartender had failed the first one. It was good enough to savout it slowly, during dinner, whilst the sun was setting and we enjoyed a splendid ambience

I hope that their gin selection will improve a little so we can put Franco Mare a bit higher on my list. Even this way, however, this is one of the best Martinis that I have tasted in a high-class restaurant (pls remember that overhyped Bottura in Modena will not mix you a Martini....)
