The Martini cocktail prepared at the Hassler, the most elegant hotel in Rome, is a high-quality affair. The mix prepared by the bartenders is just right, dry and smooth without any unduly extravagance; showing everybody that trying to be revolutionary in the most classic of drinks is an act bordering on impiety, whilst a dutiful respect for this venerable mix will always pay dividends. Right glass, right gin (in this case it's '209', but they can offer you also Tanqueray 'Ten', No.3 and even the occasional 'Navy Strength' gin, something that really made them improve their classification), the right size of olive and a smiling young waitress made us love this place at once.

The bar at the Terrace of 7th floor will mix you a special variation of the 'Pasini Express', the 'George & Jacqui' Martini, in honour of our beloved friends to which we are indebted for the discovey of the beauty 'Emporio Armani Caffé' will mix you an excellent 'Pasini Express'... and you will not be disappointed
