The Revox uses the 'C9' coupler for its AC cable; it is not very common and this is somewhat a nuisance |

The Studer, as befits a professional machine, uses a standard 3-prongs 'C13' appliance coupler (goes in its 'C14' inlet), easier to replace if the original one goes AWOL. A professional musn't be stopped by the AC cord missing |

Both the Studer and the Revox were made in 'West-Germany', this giving a clear clue that they were manufactured before 1989, when the Berlin Wall fell down. Definitely NOT 'Made in PRC' |
