RADIO
I need also a radio, though I'm not in such an urgency. A H.M.V. Radiomobile 4200 or similar would be appropriate
You don't find many of these old radios around and I'm not even sure that I need it, but it's something that was offered as an option (as the heater...!) on the 403 and it would be nice to have it

A fascinating old Smiths 'Radiomobile' ad. The car is a imaginary streamliner shaped from something out of a Bristol 401/403, a Jaguar XK/MKVII and a Franay Bentley
I also need a new 'flat' speaker, of course, like the one that I put in my 409, but the space looks even less in the 403
The original loudspeaker of my 409 (left) is remarkably similar to the original one for the 403 and I found a Goodmans speaker with front magnet that is exactly identical
Both speakers are scruffy, but they have been overhauled and they sound passably well....they're no Klipschorns, though
