Today (Monday 27 November 2017) EX444BX was noisy, though changing the Koni shocks with new Boge items supplied by Berkshire Jaguar cured most of the squeaks inside. The exhaust had some issue, however, so I headed for the workshop of a real Master of the exhaust systems, mr Bartoli in Faenza |

Bartoli is a super guy. He had some time for my XJ6, though it's not one of the Porsches or Lamborghinis he usually works on, so he studied the problem and decided that the main 2 in 1 manifold was broken |

The main pipe is sound; the manifold had a small crack |

The manifold was cut, repaired, sold again and properly fixed |

The manifold reassembled. The XJ6 is now as quiet as it has to be |
